Chi Healing

What is Chi Healing?

Chi Healing, or ChiGong therapy, involves practitioners cultivating internal Chi through breath, movement, and meditation, and then emitting it externally to harmonise a patient’s energy at specific acupoints via finger pressure, or focused intention without physical contact. This hands-on Chi transmission stimulates meridians and acupoints to treat illness. Historically there were not enough adepts to meet the needs of public health, so acupuncture was developed which anyone can learn.

5 Element Healing

The human body, and all of nature, is governed by five dynamic phases—Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water—each embodying distinct qualities, emotions, organs, and energetic cycles that interact in Nurturing and Controlling relationships to sustain balance and vitality.

Wood represents growth and spring, linked to the liver and gallbladder, fostering assertiveness yet prone to anger.

Fire embodies summer's warmth and joy, governing the heart and small intestine, embodying joy which can become hysteria when excessive.

Earth signifies late summer's nourishment and stability, tied to the spleen and stomach, promoting empathy but risking worry.

Metal aligns with autumn's clarity and the lungs and large intestine, evoking grief when imbalanced.

Water corresponds to winter's depth and the kidneys and bladder, fueling willpower amid fear.

MERIDIAN TRACING

Meridians are pathways or channels that form an intricate network throughout the human body, serving as conduits for the vital life force known as Chi. These rivers of energy, connect organs, tissues, and systems, facilitating the balanced flow of chi, blood, and bodily fluids to maintain health and harmony. There are twelve primary meridians each associated with a specific organ, and eight extraordinary meridians that act as reservoirs or regulators.

Like cleaning the drains, Meridian Tracing pulses Chi through the meridians which has the effect of cleansing, energising and balancing the whole system

ORGAN CLEANSING

Cleansing the five primary organs—liver, heart, spleen, lungs, and kidneys—involves both physical detoxification and emotional release, achieved by transmitting chi into the organs to flush out toxins, dissolve stagnation, and restore each organ’s innate harmony.

The five elements dance in a choreographed interconnected patterns of nourishment and control. When one organ goes out of balance it affects the whole system, and when there is healing it also affects the whole system.

Taoist Alchemy

Taoist Alchemy, or Neidan (Inner Alchemy), is the esoteric practice of refining the body, energy, and spirit to achieve immortality, radiant health, and union with the Tao. A similar method to raising kundalini enregy up the spine in the Vedic chakra system.

At its core are the Three Treasures: Jing (essence – the foundational substance of the body, linked to sexual energy and hormones), Chi (vital energy – the breath and life-force that animates all movement), and Shen (spirit – pure consciousness, awareness, and the light of the heart-mind). These three must be successively refined: Jing is transformed into Qi, Qi into Shen, and Shen ultimately returned to the original void.
